Artist Biography:
Igor Medvedev
In 1990, the Youth Dramatic Theatre hosted Igor’s first personal art
exhibition.  Since then his work has been displayed in Vilnuce, The Russian
landscapes, at times, igor is so moved to paint, he will, regardless of readiness.  
Once out canoeing, igor felt so inspired he painted the front half of his canoe.  
Unknown to him, that canoe would later be cut and sold as valuable, cherished
artwork.  His work has become known for drawing the viewer into the mystic,
mysterious mood of the scene.    


Igor Medvedev was born November 10, 1961 in Novopskov, Russia.  He now
lives in Moscow.
